why?

So, Conner is almost 4 (!) and Audrey just turned 1 (!!)... why a blog now? I've been maintaining a website for Conner since we found out that he was a boy - I'm thinking that it was around October of 2003. Then, when we found out about Audrey, there went another website! My problem lies in the fact that I forget to update them both. Seriously. How hard is it to update? Well, it's not, but I don't think about updates unless they've been to the doctor or there's been something monumental happen (which isn't very often). I'm hoping that putting this in blog form will help me keep updated - and then I won't have to update two pages, just one!
