Yesterday at church a friend of ours gave us 4 tickets for the Reds game that afternoon because he wasn't going to be able to go. I thought we'd give Audrey a shot at going (hoping that she would take a nap while we were there... buwho was I kidding?!). We took a quick trip to Sam's Club to pick up some necessities, ran home to change clothes, then off we went to get to the park!

We were only a little bit late (after finding a parking garage and walking); the kids and I got to our seats in the 2nd inning (Eric was off finding dollar hotdogs). They were great seats - on the third base line in the third row of the upper deck. Despite not wanting to sleep (though she definitely had her paci and blankie!) Aud did pretty good - turns out that she looooves peanuts! She even got some of them opened by herself. Conner had a good time and really did well sitting and relaxing during the game. I don't know how much of the game he actually watched, but he had fun flirting with the girls behind us! They were giving out little pink pig Webkinz for the kids, plus some boy gave Conner this big inflatable bat on our way down to the park - the kids raked in the gifts!

Audrey may have held out on the sleeping at the game, but she just couldn't last on the way home.... or once we got there! (She was on the couch for about 2 hours... then was up for half an hour, then went to bed! Poor thing.)

Conner's been using his sidewalk chalk out the on the driveway to make some cool pictures.
Can you tell what they are?(Answers: a chainsaw and a frog eating a fly)

He had his end-of-the-year preschool picnic on Friday. I couldn't go (couldn't get out of school) but Eric was off so he was able to attend. They had some games planned for the kids to parents to take part in, but they also had some free play time. During that time I guess Eric was pushing Conner on the swing, but he pushed a little bit too hard, and Conner went flying. We went to a cookout at one of his school friend's houses on Saturday night, and the parents there were saying that Conner was really a trooper and didn't complain at all. It looks pretty bad, but he's never whined about it (which is very unusual for him nowadays!).

Audrey was playing with her babies today. Very cute.
